Solutions HR

With a long fulfilling career in commercial HR, including 19 years with John Lewis I set up Solutions HR. To bring leading business expertise to small and family led businesses. Offering specialist advice and operational support across all areas of HR.

The catalyst for me setting up Solutions HR  was in 2018. During my NLP Practitioner course I was invited to "dare to dream".  I took the invitation and drew a picture of my family in one of her most loved places.  I immediately realised I was stuck in a place and this place was not serving me or moving me towards my dream. So, being a decisive action taker I took courageous action to move my dream closer! I decided to combine my strengths of building great relationships and developing businesses through their people, to found Solutions HR.

I am an Associate with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and International Stress Management Association. In 2011 and 2013 I completed, CIPD qualifications. I am committed to my personal and professional development. In 2018  I completed a foundation certificate in psychodynamic counselling and became a NLP Practitioner.

My  passion is partnering with small and family led businesses.  Enabling them to make their business and employee experience better.  I believe, when you hire and retain people who believe in what you do,  that is the difference that makes the difference.  And ultimately, it leads to your business success.

Away from the office, I love spending time with my husband, two daughters and dog.  We can often be on the East coast of England or can be found socialising with friends.

“Her calm assuring style always made me feel confident when dealing with even the most trickiest of HR situations”  Chris Hall, John Lewis & Partners
