Proudly presenting at the Winter Arts & Crafts showcase!

I’m thrilled that Crafty Cavy items have been selected for the artsdepot Winter Arts & Crafts showcase!

At the showcase you can browse a curated selection of artwork, gifts and homewares by local designers, makers, artists and craftspeople. From jewellery and accessories to textiles, ceramics and visual art, the Arts & Crafts Showcase displays the artistry and diversity of skills in our community.

I’m so excited to be involved, and many of the items can be purchased too (ideal for Christmas!).

Thanks for the fantastic write up from the artsdepot – “Kay Dudman is a knitter, crocheter, embroiderer and maker of tatted lace; she designs, makes, takes commissions and teaches using these traditional crafts under the business name of Crafty Cavy. A cavy is a guinea pig, another of Kay’s passions, and she has five rescued guinea pigs. Kay has been creating unique handmade items for many years, and after 25 years as a university lecturer in computing Kay launched Crafty Cavy five years ago to share her knowledge, skills and enthusiasm with others; she also teaches knitting and crochet at Let’s Learn in the Grand Arcade.”

Running throughout the year, the Arts & Crafts Showcase features unique handcrafted items, available to purchase during Box Office opening hours.
